Components in The First Descendant are an exogenous factor that enhances the character's abilities, featuring a random stat and two traits that enhance attributes like HP, DEF, or Shield. 

There are four different components: Auxiliary Power, Sensor, Memory, and Processor; all of these have different pools of traits that can make a significant difference in gameplay. These traits come in varying levels of rarity, from Blue to Gold, the ultimate tier. Getting the right mix of these is crucial to optimizing your build. From week to week, only two out of four component types will be available for farming, so players must target components and traits that will improve their setup.
