Where to Get Exotic Weapons in Destiny 2

There are multiple ways of acquiring exotic weapons in Destiny 2.

Monument to Lost Lights

Some exotic weapons came from content currently unavailable in the game. Those exotics can be bought at the Exotic Kiosk (aka Monument to Lost Lights) in the tower. It is located at the main deck between the Vaults.
