The Final Shape DLC introduces a slew of additions. Apart from a new campaign and a new destination, there is a brand new Subclass, which combines Light and Darkness into one powerful kit. New Subclass - Prismatic

To prepare Guardians for the final showdown with the Witness, the Traveler have imbued Guardians with powers previously unimaginable - combining Light and Darkness into one powerful kit.

The Prismatic subclass allows players to combine certain Aspects and Fragments from their Light and Darkness subclasses to create unique and powerful combinations of abilities. Not all Aspects and Fragments are available to play around - only a select number were added to Prismatic. However, the developers made sure to leave a lot of space for self expression and buildcrafting. However, players will not have access to all Aspects and Fragments from the get go. Although a starting build will be available at the very beginning of the campaign, unlocking all available Aspects and Fragments is going to take a lot of effort. We can help with that! But combining abilities is not where it ends. Prismatic introduces a mini-Super called Transcendence. By dealing damage with Light and Darkness, a special meter fills up. Once full, players can enter Transcendence, which instantly refreshes the cooldown of melee and grenade abilities and they regenerate quicker. In addition, each class will have a special grenade ability, which combines both Light and Darkness energies.

Exotic Class Items

To further broaden the scope of buildcrafting introduced with the addition of the Prismatic subclass, a new type of exotic item has been added - exotic Class items.

The main feature of exotic Class items is their ability to roll with two exotic perks from other exotic items. Not only that, but those perks are not exclusive to wielders class. For example, Titans may have a class item with exotic perks from Hunters and Warlocks exotics.

These class items have random rolls, so finding your perfect combination will be one of the main parts of the endgame grind. New Campaign and Destination - The Pale Heart

After the events of Lightfall, the Witness has established the link between the Veil and the Traveler and opened a portal to the Pale Heart - a mystical realm inside of the Traveler, where time and space converges, recreating places from our Guardians past.

Players will be able to visit locations from previous DLCs, including the Old Tower, Europa, Nessus and others. Cayde-6 also returns to Destiny 2 and acts as our guide inside the Pale Heart.

Inside the Pale Heart of the Traveler we will encounter a brand new enemy race called the Dread. They are Witness’ creations wielding the powers of Darkness. There are five new enemies, each of them bringing unique gameplay scenarios.

New Super Abilities

In addition to Prismatic, each class gets a new Super for their Light subclass.

The Warlock Solar Super is called Song of Flame, which empowers their grenade and melee abilities and buffs allies weapon damage for the duration.

Hunters’ new Arc Super is called Storm’s Edge. Players will be able to throw a knife imbued with Arc energy, instantly teleport to it dealing Arc damage in an AOE.

Titans get a Void Super called Twilight Arsenal, which makes them throw giant Void axes. Axes deal damage on impact and players can then pick them up to use as weapons.
