What are Runes in TL Game?

Runes are an essential part of the game that provides powerful buffs to character’s gear and allows you to further customize the defensive and offensive capabilities of your character. There are three types of Runes in the game, each of them providing their own type of buffs:

The order in which Runes are slotted determines what buff will be awarded. 

How to Get TL Runes

Runes can be acquired through completing a variety of in-game activities like dungeons, Weekly Missions and World Bosses. Here is the list of main ways to farm and upgrade Runes:

1. Running Challenge Co-op Dungeons.These instances are a special version of T2 Dungeons that do not consume Dungeon Tokens, but drop only Runes as rewards. The difficulty increases as you get to higher Challenge Tiers. Green Runes start dropping from Tier 6, Blue Runes have a drop chance starting from Tier 11 and are guaranteed to drop from Tier 14 Dungeons.
2. Completing various activities like World Bosses and Dynamic open-world events.
3. Completing Weekly Missions.
4. Dissolving unwanted Runes gives Rune Fragments that can be used to craft a Rune box. 

Unlocking the Runes slot or re-rolling it for better synergy requires Rune Hammers. A limited amount of Rune Hammers can be purchased from Contract Coins Merchant each week. Also, they can be either obtained by completing Weekly Missions and crafted using Rune Fragments.
